Shaunas First Car

Now that school is out and Shauna is in the “home stretch” of getting her drivers license, we’ve been thinking that it’s time to start looking for her a car. Of course we wanted her to have something that was safe and durable and this week, I think we found it. A 1995 Jeep Cherokee. It’s been taken pretty good care of, just normal wear for a car that’s 13 years old, nothing that a little elbow grease can’t take care of. It’s only got 83,000 original miles and drives really well. Regular oil changes and upkeep has given this car it’s longevity. So this week, we’ll probably be purchasing the car and preparing her to take her driving test in it. It’ll be a good first car for here. I’ll post some pictures as soon as we get it. Shauna is an A student and she also has a job, we think she’s earned it.

That’s great!! I can’t believe that everyone’s growing up so fast! She’s a good kid and I know she’ll be responsible.
I know, it’s amazing isn’t it. And thanks, she is a good kid with a good head on her shoulders. Still scares the shit out of me though.
