Signed And Sealed Deal
Well, this morning, we became home owners again. After seven months of working with various lenders, we finally found one that works for us. Last month, we contacted F.A.H.E. (Federation of Appalachian Housing Enterprises) out of Berea, Kentucky, which works in regions of Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. F.A.H.E. does traditional and non-traditional home loans by working with many financial institutions in our region. Working with F.A.H.E. has been a pleasure through this whole process. We finally found a lender who seen us as people and not just a number. They worked for us to find a very low interest rate, asking the necessary questions and providing us with the necessary answers. So much different than the other lending institutions that was initially worked with. I really wish that I had known about them 7 months ago.
Anyhow, we closed on our house this morning and within the next month, we’ll be moving into our new home. Thanks again to all of you who kept your fingers crossed for us, you made this whole ordeal much more bearable.
