Was wanting to do this for a while, finally got around to it. The golden Chevy bow tie just didn’t fit in with the rest of the Camaro. Thought about painting the bow ties front and rear. Still might, but I wanted to see how they’d look first with the same Hot Red that the rest of the car is painted. I’d never used Plasti Dip before, but decided to give it a try. Checked out some good youtube videos first just to see how this stuff works and it looks pretty straight forward. Prep the part as if you were going to paint it. Do a very light first coat, light second coat and a heavier third coat. Tape pulled away fine (hense the light coat first) and the end result was awesome, couldn’t be more pleased.
