Installing A New Carb On Our 1968 VW Beetle, Aftermarket vs Solex!

This is something that I’ve been wanting to do for a couple of years, so now is the time. I want to replace our OEM Solex carb (which is working just fine) with an aftermarket, no name carb. I found a cheap one on Amazon for around 60 dollars, so I thought I’d give it a try. I don’t have high expectations for good performance from this carb, but I’m willing to give it a try. I’m installing it right out of the box, no adjustments until I’m able to get the engine up to temp and warmer weather. Thanks for watching! Please take a moment to give the video a thumbs up, comment and subscribe to our channel, we’d certainly appreciate it.
