In this video, I’m installing some OEM roof rails as well as a Tyger cargo basket on our 2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. I’ve researched numerous alternatives for extra cargo space on the roof that wouldn’t interfer with the removal of the Freedom panels and unfortunately, most of the racks, rails, etc. that I found were overpriced, cheap and just didn’t look very good to me. Ultimately, I decided to go with OEM Mopar roof rails and install a Tyger Auto TG-RK1B976B Super Duty Roof Cargo Basket. This will give us that added cargo space that we were looking for without spending way too much on cheap, stamped metal racks that’ll rust in just a couple of months. While waiting on the arrival of the cargo basket, I installed some cowl lights just for extra lighting when we’re hitting the trail.
